Normativa aplicable en materia de Artesanía

 LAW 3/2001, of June 26, Crafts of the Canary islands.

This law, as he picks up in its statement of reasons, has the following objectives:

 

a) To help in the conservation, modernization and restructuring of the handicraft sector in the Autonomous Community of the Canary islands.

b) To promote the creation and development of marketing channels appropriate for the traditional products of the Canary islands.

c) Document and retrieve the craft expressions typical of the Canary islands and to consolidate the maintenance of the existing ones.

d) To promote and encourage the training of artisans in the Autonomous Community of the Canary islands.

e) Favorecer la accesibilidad del sector artesano a las líneas de crédito preferenciales o a las subvenciones y ayudas que pueda establecer la Administración Pública, así como fomentar la implantación de sistemas cooperativos y asociativos.

Todo ello, desde la visión de que la artesanía no es sólo una actividad económica, sino, sobre todo, un hecho cultural y social que necesita de un mejor marco económico para su conservación.

f) To encourage the creation of centres museum in each of the islands or regions to promote the conservation of the prototypes for its historical and artistic interest so deserving.

 

 

DECREE 177/2004, of 13 December, which establishes the definition of the crafts and the general rules for obtaining the qualification of a Craftsman.

 

 

DECREE 176/2005, of 20 July, which establishes the requirements for the recognition of the status of the company artisan, craftsman and master craftsman in the Autonomous Community of the Canary islands.

 

 

ORDER of 7 November 2006 laying down the procedures for obtaining the card artisan, the document of qualification of company artisan, and the card monitor craftsman or master craftsman.

 

 

ORDER of march 5, 2010, which regulates the procedure for the use and control of the brand Crafts Canaria.

 

 

ORDER of July 25, 2011, by establishing the Repertoire of Crafts Artisans in the Canary islands.

 

 

DECREE 320/2011, 1 December, which establishes the definition of the crafts of the Canary islands and approved the contents of the tests to access the condition of a craftsman.
